I’m a Seattle-based writer who also loves to bake. Growing up I didn’t have cakes from a “box” or pre-made pastry crust and I don’t intend to start now! This site is a collection of the things I’ve made for friends, family, and myself.  I’ll include the recipe and any alterations whenever possible, though many can be made with your favorite recipe. All goodies are home baked and are made for the pure love of baking.
